As a graduate of the Hampshire Lighthouse in 2018, and a person who has maintained
long-term recovery for the past seven years I believe in the power of recovery and the
opportunity that can be found within our programming specifically. My experiences has
lead me to hold a very special place in my heart for this organization and I am excited
and humbled to be able to show my gratitude through service and leadership. I began
working with WVCORR in a volunteer position as a recovery coach for the female
residents. I then transitioned into the role of CFO in August of 2021 and used that time
to get a good understanding of the heart of the organization and how I could contribute
to that. In my role as executive director I am excited to work to sustain the grow Misty
began as well as to continue to work towards the end goal of creating a recovery
campus in our area. My hope for our community is that no matter what place a person is
in recovery that when someone wants help we will be able to provide resources quickly
and effectively without judgment. I am excited to be a part of that in any capacity and
plan to lead WVCORR to continued create change and build hop throughout our
community.
